MOTUL 300V Information

Motul 300V 100% synthetic ester.
You may ask why Esther synthetic is better than other types of Synthetic oils?
i.e. P.A.O. (Polyalfaolefen) and XHVI (Extra High Viscosity Index) Esters are not derived from Crude Oil, it is made from plant derivatives, which have better lubricating properties and brings engine oils to new levels.

Motul 300V has a high resistance to thermal breakdown which means that it doesn't burn off in the hottest parts of the engine, such as the cylinder walls even in extreme conditions. When an oil burns, it leaves carbon deposits, which are then removed by detergents present in most engine oils which then mixes with the oil; eventually breaking down it's properties and turning it black.

Motul 300V and Motul 5100 Ester have a natural polarity which means the molecules are electrically charged and adhere to crucial metal components (cylinder walls, cam shafts and bearings). That, combined with an unshearable oil film (300V) will give maximum protection from metal to metal contact. It also means that at cold start up, there is a protective film at the top end of the engine where it is vital.
Ester also lowers friction, which means the engine will run cooler and develop more horsepower.

What more could you ask for? Well, maybe a renewable product that is also bio-degradable.

Please note: BE CAREFUL- not all oils labelled fully synthetic, are 100% synthetic!
